A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join us and lead on a new automotive aftersales project with our client. The role will involve working to support the Customer Service Management team in the development, execution and delivery of the project. You will need to be a strong communicator and able to work on your own initiative to maintain timelines to deliver the project time. Main purpose of the role

- The project manager role will be to support the Customer Service Division Management Team in the development, execution & delivery of a new and exciting project in aftersales
- The key function of this role is to develop all elements of the project plan and sustainability
- The successful candidate will need to work on their own initiative whilst maintaining timelines to deliver the project

Candidate Responsibilities

- Development of documentation (Project Plans, Task Lists, Trackers) to support project definition and execution
- Provide clear & concise progress reports to management, at all levels through reporting
- Identify any non-conformance issues and escalate as appropriate
- Lead and facilitate workshops across the projects as required
- Project scope management and change control procedures
- Managing issues and risks including the development of contingency plans
- Manage communications with project stakeholders
- Identify and escalate conflicting priorities
- Identify and manage critical dependencies across the project
- Support program Governance processes
- Adherence to standard project management best practices

Candidate Specification

- Automotive Market knowledge
- Previous project management and/or team leader experience
- Self-motivated, able to work under own initiative
- Enthusiastic, flexible and proactive personality
- Personal qualities of integrity and credibility
- Results orientated with a customer focused attitude
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills

Competencies and Skills required

- Computer literate with competency in MS office, especially Excel
- Issue risk management
- ITPM/Security & controls
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Can demonstrate a high degree of being able to work on own initiative and motivation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- PMI certification as a Project Management Professional or equivalent qualification desirable
- Ability to learn technical/system details where appropriate

Reporting to

- DNS Operations Manager

Working hours

- Full time and prepared to work overtime when needed
