Position - Functional Safety Consultant
Location - Warwickshire
Salary - GBP40 per hour, 12 month contract
A leading Automotive Engineering Consultancy is seeking to recruit a Functional Safety Consultant to work on an on-going programmes for their customers.
As Functional Safety Consultant you will conduct activities in:
*Identifying hazards, performing risk assessment and classification
*User and systems level requirements capture, management and technical review
*System level architectural design and technical review
*Safety analysis techniques e.g. FMEA, FTA (qualitative and quantitative), HAZOP etc. applied at the systems level and hardware part level
*Technical leadership of small project teams
*Tendering process and preparation of project proposals
The client welcomes applications from candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
**Delivering of ISO 26262 to OEM and Tier 1 suppliers in the Automotive Sector covering all aspects of the safety life cycle
**Safety analyses techniques, particularly FMEA
