POSITION Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical or Mechanical
INDUSTRY: Manufacturing/Production/FMCG
HOURS: 4 on 4 off
LOCATION: Retford, Worksop, Mansfield, Newark, Grantham, Lincolnshire
SALARY: TBC
We are now recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrically Biased or Mechanically Biased to work for our prestigious client who is a large manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire.
The ideal candidate will ideally have electrical or mechanical experience who is able to work as a team and on their own. Experience of planned preventative maintenance, working within a manufacturing environment, and particularly heavy machinery such as furnaces, presses, conveyors, crushers etc.
Person requirements:
- Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer- Electrically or Mechanically Biased
- Excellent fault finding skills
- Ability to interpret electrical wiring/schematic drawings
- Knowledge of inverter drives, PLC's, 3 phase motors/pumps, pneumatic systems
- PLC Allen Bradley Experience diagnosis, fault finding, part programming
- 17th Edition qualified
- Pneumatics or Hydraulics experience
Key Duties:
- Carry out reactive maintenance in a busy production facility as well as following a structured PPM system.
- Ensure documentation and reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- Using initiative to work alone or as part of a team.
- Problem solving while looking to constantly improve in place systems.
The shift pattern will be working 4 on 4 off days and nights
