Our client is a very well established, forward thinking and fast paced food manufacturer. Due to organic growth they are now looking to recruit a proactive and engaging Maintenance Manager to join their team!
This challenging and varied role will involve driving and overseeing day to day activities over 3 separate units on site and managing a team of technicians to ensure all KPIs are being met around conversion costs, efficiencies, breakdown work, downtime, people development and adherence to plan whilst also supporting the site Continuous Improvement programme.
The Maintenance Manager will be at the forefront of driving a preventative maintenance culture and will need to liaise across departments to ensure food standards are being met and plans adhered to.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
o Qualified to HNC level in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline
o Proven leader or managerial experience in a production, business unit or manufacturing management role within a progressive manufacturing environment
o Open-minded with the ability to think outside the box
o Engaging and empowering leadership style - ability to manage on-going performance and development of team
o Good commercial acumen
o Practical, hungry to succeed, showing good emotional intelligence, passionate, challenging, strong work ethic, confident, and results focused.
