DESIGN ENGINEERS: STAFFORDSHIRE: GBP20-30k BASIC DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE WITH POTENTIAL FOR FUTURE PROGRESSION. HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL COMPANY UNDERGOING A PERIOD OF GROWTH AND POSITIVE DEVELOPMENT, SUPPLYING HIGH TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS TO THE OIL & GAS AND MARINE INDUSTRIES. 2 NEW ROLES DUE TO EXPANSION.
The Client
Our client is a dynamic, small but high technology multinational company with a strong order book and a desire to grow. They design and produce innovative and high value heavy engineering products used primarily in the Oil & Gas and Marine industries. As part of their continued growth they are presently seeking two Design Engineer with AutoCAD or 3D CAD skills.
The Role
- Mechanical Design of our clients specialist equipment for manufacture
- Cross checking the drawings against actual plans.
- Producing 3D CAD models of machinery for the design process.
- Produce up to date process and machinery drawing records.
- Survey existing equipment and machinery/ control panels and produce 2D and 3D drawings
- Housekeeping and maintenance of engineering records and documentation
The Person
- Engineering Degree, HNC or good drafting experience in lieu
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or 3D CAD Design (Solidworks Beneficial)
- Computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office products and keep computer records.
- Well presented, good communication skills
- Detail orientated
- Flexible and able to work with management and engineering staff
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
