A new vacancy has arisen within this well respected broker for a Desk Based New Business Executive in Leeds to specialise in sales. The role will involve sourcing, contacting, meeting and winning new business opportunities for the division. This will be completed through cold-calling, association contacts, referrals and any other way as potential to obtain new leads alongside warmer incoming calls, all desk based.
Compiling all presentations for insurers and once terms are received, putting these into a formal quotation to present to the client. Speaking to clients and prospects on a daily basis, both via phone/email and face-to-face visits. Once business has been secured, will be responsible for setting this up on the system, chasing and issuing all documentation to the client, as well as dealing with any queries or questions the client has regarding their policy.
Prospective applicants must possess relevant commercial insurance experience ideally gained within a broking environment. You will be of a smart appearance, possess an excellent telephone manner and be able to work well within a small team environment.
