An exciting opportunity has arisen an Electrical Design Engineer to join a market leading special purpose machinery company based in the Oxfordshire area.
The role
- You will work within the research and development departments primarily responsible for the day to day electrical design.
- You will be responsible for the design of electrical systems for a variety of special purpose machinery.
- You will develop ideas from scratch and also make modifications to pre existing ideas.
- Analysis products designs and make modifications for cost saving purposes.
- Provide detailed drawings, functional specification and work briefs ready for customer approval
- Designs to done using AutoCAD 2D
- You will design mains, motors and low voltage control systems.
- You will work closely with the Mechanical design engineers and Production engineers.
The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experiance in the design of electrical systems ideally for special purpose machinery.
- Have a strong understanding and ability to use Auto CAD 2D.
- It would be advantageous if you have experiance in a development role.
