Head of Business Improvement

Our client is a housing and support organisation based in Bath, providing affordable homes and high quality care and support services across the West of England. They manage nearly 13,000 homes and are developing and building 300 homes every year.
Putting the customer at the heart of everything they do means they have to deliver consistently great customer experience. As part of the Finance and Strategy team you will have a key role to play as the organisation implements their group Business Improvement Plan and help unlock the ambitions contained within their new 5 year strategic plan.
They'd like you to have an understanding of Lean, Systems Thinking or other Business Improvement methodologies and be able to bring them in and help the teams learn and develop further. You'll be a natural communicator and it's important that you're comfortable in communicating with groups of people at all levels and all sizes.
You will be a structured, self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to get those around you to buy into the lean way of thinking - you will line manage a senior analyst and senior project manager within a team of ten colleagues, and develop and grow their skills so that they become really effective at driving continuous improvement across the wider organization.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills and an understanding of programme or project management is desirable. In return you will have the opportunity to be a key player in a growing business and be a key influencer in its success.
