GBP65,000 - GBP75,000. Finance Director. Exciting opportunity to join a profitable, independent office of a prominent, global organisation involved in a range of non-for-profit services to meet the needs of a wide range of people. Joining the steering board of the organisation, the Finance Director will be responsible for strategic direction and management of multiple revenue streams as well as financial management of GBPmultimillion partnership projects in areas of construction, housing, sports facilities, etc.

The job will involve:
- Working closely with CEO, board members and management team to lead financial decision making and accountability
- Management Reporting: Produce monthly management reports including analysis, commentary and forecast
- Work in partnership with the board in proving financial analysis and insight
- Business Support: Meet budget holders regularly providing business partnering and financial support
- Financial Planning and Analysis: analyse viability of existing and new activities using investment appraisals and scenario modelling
- Build relationships and develop effective communication streams across the organisation
- Integrate financial and non-financial data analysis for reporting, planning product and business development
- Support Finance Team with annual accounts, system developments and ad-hoc reports
- Planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of results
This job will suit:
- CIMA / ACCA / ACA / CIPFA Qualified Accountant with demonstrable post qualification experience in a business environment working with multiple, diverse income streams
- Person with track record of policy formulation, change management and strategic development in a complex, multi business unit organisation
- Experience of operating at a strategic level and the ability to join an enthusiastic senior management team as a contributing peer level colleague
- High level planning, project management and decision making capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor reportees
