Engineering Manager - FMCG
GBP50,000 + car allowance OR GBP55,000 basic
Pension + Healthcare
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Site Director, you will responsible for all aspects of Engineering and Maintenance on site. Key responsibilities for the Engineering Manager include;
- Support, coach and effectively manage a team of Multi-Skilled Engineers.
- Meet or exceed targets for the Engineering department including Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and Availability (Av)
- Budgetary control of revenue, circa GBP1.2million
- PPM completion rate at or above 80%
- Provide leadership for HSE within the Engineering function and positively influence the progression of a behavioural safety and risk management culture.
- Drive and encourage TPM
- Drive MTBF plans to deliver improving machine reliability
- Develop the continuous improvement culture within Engineering through the effective implementation and use of lean tools and techniques by all Engineers
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
- FMCG Manufacturing experience managing an engineering / maintenance team
- Time served engineer either electrical / mechanical biased
- Minimum ONC qualification
