THE COMPANY
You could get the opportunity of a lifetime to work for this Global Engineering and Technology business. Their UK operation employs around 600 people covering existing and ''start-up'' operations spanning eight locations including an award winning depot down in Kent.
The company have secured several high-profile orders with full lifecycle maintenance contracts to manufacture and maintain over 200 brand new trains and as a result, will look to increase their headcount to 2000 by 2020 to meet the demands of these contract wins.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
If you are looking for an opportunity where you will become a subject matter expert, then this is certainly a role for you! You'll get the chance to showcase your knowledge and support operational teams by maximising the performance and availability amongst several fleets across this world class OEM's portfolio so excellent communication is a definite must! In addition, you will be required to travel (on occasion) to various locations across the UK, so only apply if you are comfortable with this aspect of the role. ABOUT THE JOB
Day to day you will provide detailed electrical engineering analysis on your ''own'' assigned train system across all fleets in the portfolio. You'll produce periodic performance reports and root cause analysis, create specification documents for maintenance and overhaul activities, manage the detail for any design changes as well as supporting technical teams across the depots as the subject matter expert! This is a challenging and highly rewarding role with a genuine opportunity to progress your career in a dynamic organisation that is certainly pushing boundaries in what can be achieved. THE REQUIREMENTS
You are the Systems Engineer I am looking for if you have a solid track record in rolling stock with an engineering degree to back up your experience. You will also be aiming to hold (if not already achieved) that coveted chartered engineer status and be able to back that all up with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
THE SALARY
- GBP50-55k + Pension + Healthcare + 25 Days Holiday + BH
