Are you a M&E Surveyor looking for a freelance role in the North East?
RandstadCPE are looking for a freelance QS to work for their national client on a range of educational projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing and presenting bills of quantity and cost valuations of build;
- Facilitating post tender/pre-contract and final account meetings;
- Organising and distributing sub contract tenders and undertaking order of specialist equipment;
- Arranging payments to sub-contractors, managing monthly valuations against undertaking of works within contract;
- Ensuring that all site operatives are working to the latest construction drawings;
- Negotiating final accounts & the chasing of outstanding accounts;
- Making sure the project stays on track (time and budget);
- Full compliance with all policies, legislations, regulations and procedures;
- Reporting regularly to management and client on progress and the delivery of the project to the required standard;
- Mentoring junior team members of the team.

Person Specification
To achieve success in the role, successful candidates must meet the following pre-requisites:
4 years minimum PQE;
Experienced in retail; residential; office or mixed use projects;
Demonstrable success in engaging with clients through the duration of works and beyond.
