Interim Technical Reconciliation Analyst - Insurance

A newly created role 3 month fixed term Contract role within our Insurance Operational Finance Team. The key challenge in this role is to review and understand the current processes of the VHI portfolio. To implement a cash reconciliation database and a debt aging process for handover to the finance team.

Description

- To take the data from an excel spreadsheet

- Map data to correct payment phasing

- Create process to allocate cash to phased debt

- Report on variances

- Understand impact of FX caused by timing between sale and cash receipt

- Work with VHI to streamline their processes

- Define our data needs

- Ensure commission payments are issued on time

- Provide aged debt status

- Document process

- Handover to credit control team

Profile

- Access Database & Very strong Excel knowledge

- Strong accounting knowledge

- SAP knowledge preferable but not essential

- Understanding and have practical experience of financial, operational and business processes
