Information Analyst is required for a contract position in, Leeds, UK. Sopra Steria Recruitment working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. Our Government client is looking for aInformation Analyst this will be a contract role for 1-2 months initially with possible extension.
- Significant experience in analytical techniques and their application (i.e. economics, statistics, social research, health related disciplines and operational research).
- Provides analysis, insight and evidence, and data-based products to support decision making.
- Structures problems and develops appropriate analytical solutions, analysing and triangulating data in innovative ways, and adapting approaches to deal with ambiguity.
- Deploys analytical judgement in dealing with complex problems or missing data.
- Provides advice, giving persuasive explanations of complex concepts orally and in writing to a range of audiences, in a clear and accessible manner.
- Project management skills, including the planning, management and delivery of a portfolio of projects.
- Anticipates and proactively manages delivery risks, quality assures and is accountable for team's products.
- Works with other team leaders to develop and manage staff,.
- Builds and manages collaborative relationships across the health system, including internal and external policy and analytical teams, providers and clinical experts, and challenging external partners and stakeholders, to ensure analyses are relevant to their needs.
A strong analytical background and a mix of the following skills:
- Knowledge of (NHS) datasets and definitions
- Ability to assess data quality and reliability
- Data interrogation skills including data linking
- Knowledge management
- Descriptive statistics, standardisation and sampling
- Customer base development, including commissioning external partners
- Stakeholder engagement and management
