Security Service Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to GBP26k basic + overtime at x1.5 + van and fuel card + door to door travel time + callout + standby
My client is a NACOSS Gold accredited installer who specify, design, install and maintain CCTV, Access Control and Alarm systems for customers across the UK, with a large customer base in the High Security/Banking sector. They have a requirement for a Service Engineer to work on the service and maintenance side in Manchester.
The main responsibilities will be to attend service visits, fault find and carry out reactive and preventative maintenance and participate on the out of hours callout rota. The successful candidate must have an excellent knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms, with a good fault finding ability. Knowledge of remote monitoring (Adpro) and IP CCTV is a must (ideally Panasonic, Avigilon, Bosch or similar systems). You will also be required to have a good understanding of Galaxy, ATS and PAC. Fire knowledge is beneficial although not essential.
A van and fuel card will be provided for this role. Callout is 1 in 5 weeks and overtime is also available at time and a half. You will also be paid for door to door travel time before 08.00 and after 17.30. It should be noted that a high level of security clearance will be required for this role.
