Business Development / Wholesale Manager - Leisure - GBP30,000 -GBP40,000
Location: South-East England
Salary: GBP30,000-GBP40,000
My Client is part of a Visitor attraction, entertainment and educational venues within the leisure sector who are currently growing the business.
Role
- To achieve all yearly Sales Targets set for designated Accounts
- Day to day management of all designated Accounts. This involves providing a full and professional Sales, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and administration
- Responsible for developing and executing a new business strategy in order to drive growth
- To provide accurate weekly reporting of account Sell-Ins against Sales Targets and to proactively identify additional sales opportunities
- Regular and productive store visits to Accounts to drive in-season business and gain insight, knowledge and enhance the performance of products
- Work closely with the Warehouse to ensure orders are delivered in full and on time to all Accounts
- Proactively develop Marketing Plans for designated Accounts to support the brand and sell-through
- When reviewing new business opportunities ensuring distribution policies are adhered to at all times and that the required minimum standards are constantly monitored and addressed where necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Account and Territory Management experience
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent numerical skills with the ability to understand, interpret and utilise sales figures
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Ability to work well in a team as well as having the confidence and self-motivation to work individually
- A good understanding of Wholesale and Retail
