What is the company like?

A progressive Engineering & Manufacturing Recruiter, been going for about 10 years based in Camberley, Surrey. Culturally we are pretty relaxed, dress down & early finish Fridays and no phone times etc. However we work hard, and believe we are pretty good at what we do. We have historically been a perms recruiter and have a small perms team with good clients, but now need to focus on building a contract team.

Thats where you fit in..

The aim of the ******* to build a contract Eng/Mfg recruitment division. You will have clients to work with and and some roles to work on from day one, combined with an established back office function. The aim will be to grow this team to approximately 5 billing consultants within 2 years. As soon as you reach 4 profitable heads the role will become less reliant on your personal billings and become more of a managerial / growth position. You will be in charge of the strategy and implementing it, as well as internal recruitment whilst working closely with the sales manager. To be clear, this is not a totally cold desk, we already have a few heads out which the perm team have covered

Benefits of the role include a great base salary, we need the right person for this job and will pay to get them. You will also be rewarded on personal performance and eventual team overide. We may even offer a bonus guarantee for a period of time.

How will you be supported? This role is absolutely key, and the person who joins will get direct support from the MD and Sales Manager. Whilst how you build the team will be up to you, the support network will be there from day one.

Who should consider this. recruiters with 3 years plus proven experience in the contract market. It's tough to leave a contract book, so this really only suits a recruiter who really wants to progress quickly to director and have the opportunity to move into a big job
