Inspired People are recruiting for this exciting opportunity with a leading healthcare charity based in the South West of England.
We're looking for a positive, strong communicator, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver against targets and objectives. You will demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of individual giving fundraising, with considerable experience of preparing programmes of activity and business plans to recruit, engage, inspire and retain donors.
Your main purpose will be to implement and grow income from Regular and One-off gifts, Major Gifts, Legacies and In Memory, Client Contributions and Special Events. You will manage the Individual Giving budget, meeting income targets and monitoring and forecasting on a monthly basis, maximising efficiencies and ensuring delivery is within budget.
You will also work closely with team members to create direct marketing communications and appeals to achieve maximum income from existing and prospective supporters, alongside managing a donor journey strategy for stewardship, retention and upgrading of donors support, and creating initiatives to attract new donors from specific targeted supporter groups.
You will have a proven ability to implement an individual giving strategy, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach and an ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of media and audiences.
Proven experience within Major Donor fundraising is critical to success in this role, along with an eye for detail, knowledge of budgets and financial reporting against targets, and a sound knowledge of the regulatory environment for fundraising from individuals.
This role will suit a detail focused person, with extensive experience of individual giving fundraising, who is committed to the cause, adaptable and resourceful. This is an interim position for three months, with the possibility to extend, and is a great opportunity to join a focused, positive and 'roll the sleeves up' team, having a real impact on thousands of individuals.
