We are looking for a versatile and experienced individual to join the NHS Shared Business Services Client Performance team. The team is a mixture of a well-established team with a proven track method of on-boarding new clients and other implementation projects; a relatively new team and has to date, been driven forward within a project; and a training team. The best practice team's good work has now led to this being turned into a structural department as one of four key functions within the F&A business. The training team currently resides within several other functions and now will report to the Head of Client Performance.
Role Overview:
The Principal Client Performance Lead is the expert within Implementation in their particular process (A2R, O2C, P2P and Training). As such you will own the solutions management, maintenance and improvement responsibility for that area of the Implementation, Best Practice or Training methodology that each project runs from. You will ensure that best practice is used whenever possible by taking ownership of best practice principles for your stream. You will identify and deliver revenue streams in both new and existing clients, ensuring that these follow best practice principles and that the solutions reached follow agreed NHS SBS and PRINCE2 methodology. In addition you will ensure that ideal state principles are adopted wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage key stakeholders both within and outside of NHS SBS
- Manage a P&L account and project budget for your area of work
- Co-ordinate a project team of up to 10, to ensure optimum delivery across all projects
- Initiate communications to all of the relevant process community to ensure consistency and quality Report weekly to Head of Client Performance Contribute towards the solution processes and project methodology for your workstream Take ownership of best practice principles for your stream and ensure that they are adopted whenever possible
- Must demonstrate leadership skills and line management skills while mentoring and developing other staff and community members Provide forecast of time and expenses for all projects to all relevant Project Managers on a weekly basis
- Chair regular process stream meetings with Client Process Lead and any Data Leads, plus many ad hoc meetings with Client Process and Data Leads
- Travel to client site, 80% + travel in this role
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Change Management and Project Management experience using Prince 2 methodologies is essential to be a success in this role
- Experience of managing a team of likeminded people
- On-boarding experience
- Senior stakeholder management experience
