We are now looking for team leaders who can rally their sales troops, pull them through hardships, hit targets and achieve explosive profits. Our client based in Bristol is currently expanding, and to support their growth, they now need a Sales Manager to spearhead the team.

It will be the responsibility of the successful candidate to lead from the front, reach targets, create and deliver sales training as well as initiate new strategies for the team to sell a range of Telecom-led products. As well as having a strategic mind, you will also need to be a great motivator, a fantastic communicator, a seller that leads by example and someone who remains easily approachable, even in the toughest of circumstances.

Reporting to and working with the Sales Director, you should demonstrate commercial vision, clear direction and constantly keep one eye on the future growth of the company. Being able to identify KPIs and deploy a super strategy that maximises new selling opportunities is an absolute must. But it's not left there, because you'll also need to analyse your campaigns and report back with results.

* Take responsibility for Schedule 5 and targets.
* Increase market share in existing markets but take advantage of untapped areas.
* Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
* Direct, motivate, engage, listen, communicate and smile.

Must:

* Come from a sales background; ideally a senior or managerial level.
* Be able to perform excellent sales techniques and negotiation skills.
* Have a personable and approachable character with great people skills.
* A strong command of English and be a clear communicator.
* Possess a commercial and business mind.
* Have the ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team.
* Coaching and management of training requirements.
* Own a calm head under pressure.
* Bite the bullet when needed and take ownership for the team.
* Have experience in utilising a budget and knowledge of report writing.
* Have a 'can-do' attitude, be enthusiastic and confident in reaching targets.
* Be a proficient user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
* Identify and develop new business through fresh avenues and markets.
* Be able to think on your feet, use your initiative and push through adversity to get results.
