Senior Security Systems Engineer (Field Based)

Would you relish the challenge of working on various client sites, utilising your technical skills and proven experience as a multi-disciplined Security Systems Engineer? Due to continued expansion, reputable business Hunter Communication Services require experienced professionals to join the rapidly growing Security Division, with roles available in both the North West and the Midlands regions.

As a Senior Security Systems Engineer you will support clients within your allocated region, undertaking the following;

  • Installing, commissioning and maintaining security systems (CCTV , door access control and intruder)
  • Identifying faults, and repairing and replacing system components as necessary
  • Completing paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintaining van stocks of materials and necessary tools
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times

To be considered for the role of Senior Security Systems Engineer you will have the following knowledge, skills, experience and attributes:

  • Working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarm systems (IP and analogue)
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent within the electrical industry
  • Knowledge of current British and Security Inspectorate Standards 
  • Experience of working within a service environment
  • Fully conversant with current products within the security industry
  • Proactive and customer focused approach to work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to take responsibility, capability of working on own initiative and effective as part of a team 
  • Smart professional appearance 
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000, level dependent on experience 

Other Benefits: Company uniform and company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop.

Contract Type: Permanent 

Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility required to be on standby as part of the call out rota to meet client needs as and when needed.
