Our client is looking for a Matron to lead their clinical teams and provide strong clinical governance leadership. Their services include imaging, Endoscopy, Consulting rooms and minor LA procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure all relevant policies are in place, reviewed and updated as and when necessary (e.g. centre guidelines/patient information)
- Provide clinical leadership for all clinical teams, deliver clinical services when necessary
- Complete action plans from audits to the satisfaction of the Healthcare Director
- Lead the departmental performance management systems & monitor standards are adhered to & that performance reports are produced
- Support the governance arrangements within the hospital including audit, complaints, incidents, risk and health and safety
- Financial performance relating to delegated budgets and operational performance of the service
- Deliver appraisal and mandatory training requirements for all staff within your teams
- Develop and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships to ensure full occupancy
- Grow the business by recruiting, developing relations with healthcare providers & developing new service lines
- Ensure regulatory and legal compliance with a clear focus on the CQC reports, health and safety and funder requirements
- Develop and grow the Chartwell learning culture which aspires to continuous quality improvement in a safe environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with Degree in Nursing or Operating Department Practitioner Registered with HPCC
- Higher Level Management qualification or equivalent experience
- 2 years experience of managing teams, preferably in a Healthcare setting
- Experience and high levels of knowledge in Governance, Clinical Audit and the requirements of the CQC
