Surveyor - National Schedule of Rates
Basingstoke
Salary £40,000 to £50,000 + Car / Allowance + 25 days Holiday + Pension
A highly regarded contractor based in Basingstoke is searching for a Quantity Surveyor with schedule of rates experience to join the team.
This is an office based role with some travel to site, you will be working on a NSR contracts covering commercial and residential projects.
Your principal duties will include:
Producing accurate estimates from the National Schedule of Rates for works up to and around £100k.
Managing the billing process for specific contract.
Producing monthly contract valuations.
Liaising with the client and resolution of invoicing queries and disputes.
Previous experience within a similar NSR role is desirable.
For the right candidate subject to capability there will be the opportunity for general surveying requirements to extend managing refurbishment, extensions to the value of £3 million.
Duties included take offs, subcontracts procurement, placing orders, monthly valuations and payments, variations and final account settlement.
