Automotive Assessor / Trainer

Our client is looking for a qualified or possibly Trainee Automotive Assessor / Trainer to join their team near Woking, Surrey.

Are you a Motor Vehicle Assessor or Automotive Trainer / Assessor?

Or perhaps you are experienced in vehicle maintenance and repair looking to move your career up a gear and become an Automotive Assessor?

Our client is looking for enthusiastic individuals to pass on your automotive pearls of wisdom to Apprentices just starting out or new to the industry.

They are looking for someone who will be able to deliver Motor Vehicle training and level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair.

Ideally they would like someone on a full time basis although part time or flexible hours can also be considered.

You will be delivering classroom and workshop based training and assessments. The learners will be aged from 16 years old to adult.

You will need to be an experienced motor vehicle specialist and ideally hold relevant industry qualifications.

It is preferred that candidates hold a Teaching and an Assessing qualification (e.g. CAVA / TAQA, A1 or D32/ D33, PTLLS, CTLLS or DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or AET etc.) although for suitably experienced candidate the company may be willing to train and support you to gain these qualifications.

You will need to have excellent communication skills and a good level of maths and English to support your learners with these skills as they are embedded into the qualifications.

About the company:

The company are a private training company and they employ around 50 staff. There are about 6 staff in the construction division. The company have a strong team and they invest in staff development with ongoing support.

Salary:£25,000 - £30,000 per annum Negotiable - Dependent on Skills, qualifications and experience

Travel:Classroom and workshop based role with some travel to meet learners in the workplace in Surrey. Occasional travel to TW8 area may be required
