We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to be a key member of the senior management team within a leading charitable organisation. You will be directly responsible for leading and shaping this organisations future, inspiring and leading a division to becoming the countries best provider of dementia care as well as ensuring that the service user gets the best standard care.
This charity has won awards including Investor in People, and was selected for the Top 100 Employers Award by the Nursing Times. They have signed up to the Driving up Quality code, showing their commitment to improving the quality of services for people with Learning Disabilities. They have also invested significantly in sustainability, and many of their homes have green initiatives set up by the care home staff and residents.
You will be working in the eldercare sector specialising in dementia care as an assistant director. The organisation is well established so you will have cemented foundations to build upon. There will be opportunity to bring your own unique skill set and the opportunity to work autonomously alongside the operational director to drive towards the specific targets while embracing the organisations ethos.
This is an incredibly rewarding role, and is open to individuals who have worked within senior management teams, ideally as a director / assistant director although anyone with senior management experience will also be considered. The nature of the role means we require someone with extensive experience within dementia services; the ideal candidate would also be qualified to degree level or have a relevant professional qualification.
You will receive the full support from the Operations Manager and there will be plenty of opportunity to develop your skills as well as passing on your own unique skills. Most importantly for this line of work you will have a direct positive impact on people's lives through challenging current expectations of a dementia service.
