Information Systems Security Manager - Bristol - ??50-60k per annum + car + benefits + flexible working + bonus
We are working with a rapidly growing organisation based in Bristol who are one of the leading European companies in their field.
A brand new position has become available for an IT Security Manager who will develop, manage and promote best practice in all aspects of IT Security within the business. You will add value to the IT Department and to the wider business through the definition and implementation of internal control policy and frameworks, process management and a risk based approach to development in order to deliver stable, secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
-Protection and maintenance of confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT systems
-Management and performance of security projects as required by the Head of IT Services
-Providing clear guidance to the business as to group policies, legal requirements and procedures in place relating to Systems Security issues
-Promoting best practice in relation to Systems Security
-Performance of Systems Security audits to identify compliance levels of IT Infrastructure and applications
-Liaise with parent company on all matters relating to IT Security and Infrastructure on a timely basis.
-Production and verification of key IS reporting and controls
-Manage the Information Systems Security team
-Liaise with key software suppliers
-Support the business in advising on key IS Security changes
-Contribute to the ongoing maturity of the IT applications and infrastructure within the business Maintaining confidentiality
-Management of all IT Audits
Key skills required:
-CISSP Qualified - desirable
-5 years plus experience in a changing IT infrastructure environment
-Experience of managing multiple technologies
-Project management experience
-2 years plus management experience of an IT security function
-Detailed understanding of hardware platforms
