Joining their People & Organisational Development Team, you will deliver effective administration support which provides the Managers at the Trust with the right information to help them to lead their people and function, colleagues with a professional ‘customer focussed’ service related to their employment at the Trust and the People and OD team with streamlined, efficient processes which enable the team to focus on strategic priorities.

Supporting the People & OD Manager in ensuring key departmental deadlines are met, you will act as ‘super user’ to the HR Management System and liaise with managers to collate, provide and maintain records such as H&S, training records and appraisal forms. Seeking continuous improvement of existing people processes, you must ensure that all people related administration is accurate and up to date whilst managing the HR email, acting as first point of contact for enquiries to the team. Playing a vital role in ‘on-boarding’ new colleagues, you will provide guidance and support on all people administration matters and ensure all records are maintained and updated in accordance with Data Protection legislation.

Candidates for this role must have a good standard of education to a minimum of GCSE grade ‘C’ (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language and have experience of a HR / Learning and Development role. With impeccable attention to detail and excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to build relationship with people at all levels and be able to effectively deal with multiple, sometimes conflicting demands from different stakeholders.

Those who hold a qualification in Business Administration, HR or Learning and Development are highly desirable however this is by no means essential. Familiarity with using a HR system / database to input employee data and produce reports would also be beneficial.
