Project Manager / Business Analyst in London
This dynamic consulting and software development house is looking for a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst to run their significant contract with one of the leading Law Firms in London on a permanent basis - commencing work 3 April 2017.
They are a dynamic service provider providing services to a range of clients in the UK and are looking for someone to work with their team of highly skilled developers in Goa, India and provide the face of their organization.
Objectives and Deliverables
Your role will have the following objectives and deliverables:
- run the project in conjunction with the off-shore Technical Project Manager in India;
- be proficient in SharePoint configuration as an end user -- managing sites, libraries, metadata, workflows etc;
- be their face to the client and the primary point of contact;
- facilitate daily Stand-Ups with the team in India - they run a fully Agile shop;
- undertake day to day client liaison and other routine Project Management tasks;
- track and manage tasks including Business as Usual responses, routine Technical Debt reduction and new projects to develop new software capability or replace existing outdated software capability;
- undertake in-depth business analysis including developing Business Requirements Documents, User Stories, Wireframes, etc;
- coordinate and manage the development process, oversee and conduct User Acceptance Testing and manage the deployment and implementation;
- manage the agile backlog in conjunction with the offshore team;
- coordinate planning and performance tracking in Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS);
- be responsible for regular reporting to senior management and the client - daily, weekly, fortnightly (after each Sprint), monthly, quarterly etc;
- take ownership of the applications roadmap and update this as needed.
- such other tasks as required in supplying a comprehensive service.
Experience
Successful candidates will have at least the following demonstrable experience with regard to:
- At least five years' experience as a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst;
- Project Managing moderate sized projects with off-shore manpower;
- Business Analyst role;
- SharePoint;
- Manage end client relationships;
- TFS.
Profile

- Excellent communicator;
- Good analytical and listening skills;
- The ability to get to the bottom of the true Business Requirement;
- Good command of English;
- Write well;
- Proven ability to deliver on time and on budget to agreed standards of quality;
- Solid understanding of the role of Project Manager and of Business Analyst;
