IT Support Engineer 
Cambridge, Cambridgeshire 
Up to £30,000 DOE per annum, depending on experience

Our client believes in investing in their technical team to create a skill set in each of their consultants that’s second to none. This is achieved by internal training and product vendor certification, for desk top support, servers, networking and network security.

As an IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing key technical support to customers, and troubleshooting any IT issues. You will work closely with the account managers to help manage the customer sites.

To be considered for this role, you should have: 

A good understanding of networking
Microsoft Desktop and Server Technologies experience
Experience of Office 365
Experience of Microsoft Exchange
Experience of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management
Ability to pass a DBS check as you will be working with schools
A valid and clean driving licence. The role is office based but will require site visits (A company van is available for visits and projects)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

The following skills/knowledge/experience would be an advantage:

Any Security or Virtualization knowledge
Experience of SAN network storage
Experience of Unified Threat Management/Firewall appliances
An understanding of Cyber Security practices
Knowledge of PowerShell
Experience/knowledge of Linux
Experience of Sophos

Remuneration:
Up to £30,000 DOE per annum, depending on experience
