We are currently recruiting for client facing support worker roles in Children's residential setting based in the Frome area. The role will be supporting children with emotional difficulties and challenging behaviour.
Successful candidates will be paid ??20,687 per year (including sleep ins). Shifts are worked on a rolling rota basis including long days and sleep ins.
About the company:
This company provides support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties in a residential setting. The company provides long-term, stable placements in individual homes in the community in either mixed or single sex homes. They provide full time and education to vulnerable young people.

Experience and Qualifications:
* Experience supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviour.
* Good communication skills
* NVQ level 3 in Children's and Young people is desirable
Responsibilities:
* Provide an excellent standard of care maintaining positive routines and a positive living environment.
* Observing health and safety regulations
* Promote equality and diversity
* Report any concerns to line manager/home manager
* Maintain accurate records and reports
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Adopt creative approaches to problem solving
* Be able to plan ahead and manage time appropriately
* Work well under pressure
