Site Manager - Modular Construction 
Head Office: Southampton 
Site: Crawley - 78 Residential and commercial units - Value £16 Million 
Salary up to £55,000 + Car / Allowance + Package 
 
A well know and respected local contractor based in Southampton is looking for a Site Manger to join the business. 
They are well known for delivering refurbishment, fit-outs, refurbishment and new build projects across the UK 
They are about to start building a 78 residential apartmentsand commercial units in Crawley, project value £16 Million. 
This project will consist of groundworks, RC farme and modular construction elements. 
 
Job Role
You will be working closely with the Contract Manager and taking an active role in the Pre-construction and planning processes. 
You will be managing the contract and construction phase from inception to handover: 
Managing site specific projects. 
Review contract programmes regularly. 
Provide Regular updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders. 
Ensure all site activities are managed in line with the costs and schedules for the specific project. 
Ensure site instructions are received for works additional to the scope of works. 
Attend site meetings with client/customer representatives as required. 
Ensure that the company H&S manager visits regularly. 
Identify H&S issues when on site. 
Give constructive feedback to the factory to help improve quality and standards, and report to the Directors. 
A good understanding of developing project programmes using MS Project software. 
Strong customer facing skills and communication with clients and all team members. 
A good understanding of managing health, safety, welfare and environmental issues throughout the project lifecycle 
Be able to produce risk assessments and production of rams. 
Experience in demolition works. 
The ability to work as part of a team. 
 
The successful candidate MUST have the following: 
CSCS Black Managers Card 
SMSTS 
First Aid 
Extensive experience in being the No1 site manager
