Are you a proactive engineer with experience of fault finding and repairing CNC machine tools and working with FANUC controls? This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a new challenge with a market-leading business. 

As pioneers in the development and manufacture of high speed spindles and multi pallet, multi axes high accuracy machine tools, our client has been at the forefront of engineering excellence through innovation since 1935. They are now seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their winning team. 

Operating from our client’s modern Midlands/Coalville headquarters, as a Field Service Engineer, your role will involve fault finding tasks, repairs and general servicing of CNC machine tools, covering both electrical and mechanical disciplines at customers’ premises throughout the UK. 

You’ll join a professional team and undertake fault finding, repair and maintenance activities on machines for a variety of customers. 

Interested? To be considered for this role, you must have a good engineering background and: 

- Experience of fault finding and repairing CNC machine tools 
- Proven experience of FANUC controls 
- Good PLC knowledge 
- A full driving licence 

Engineers with previous experience with manufacturers or distributors of CNC machine tools/lathes, or those that have worked for a large company dealing with internal electrical and mechanical maintenance, will possess many of the qualities and skills that our client is looking for. 

As a Field Service Engineer, you must be highly motivated, proactive and able to work on your own initiative. The ability to work as part of a talented team is also key.
