This is an exciting opportunity to join the teams delivering the 3 Innovation Centres in Cornwall. These are delivered by University of Plymouth on behalf of Cornwall Council and offer high quality, flexible office accommodation to facilitate the development of innovative, growth focused and knowledge based businesses.
Applications are invited for a Business Operations Manager to manage the operational delivery and development of the Cornish Innovation Centres whilst engaging with clients to support their development journeys. This role will be based at one of the Centres but requiring travel across all the Cornwall Innovation Centres.
Under the guidance of the Cornwall Innovation Centres Manager and operating as a member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operational delivery and continuous development of the services delivered through the Innovation Centres in Cornwall. Ensuring high quality engagement for centre clients and that student opportunities and jobs are identified along with collaborative opportunities between the knowledge base and business community.
Responsibility for ensuring that contract compliance and financial performance targets are achieved or exceeded at all times. Enabling staff within the centres to develop and perform within an open, engaging community, focused on innovation and growth.
This is a full-time post, employed by UoPEL, working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. As UoPEL is a subsidiary of the University of Plymouth, please note that there are separate terms and conditions for entitlements and benefits, including a different pension provider.
