We are one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the UK with more than 21,400 learners studying with us on a wide range of courses. Our mission is to equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives.
We are a dynamic college and are developing a reputation as an outstanding place to study and work. A post has arisen for a competent, highly motivated Careers Adviser to join our Careers Team supporting clients through the National careers service contract.
This role involves providing impartial careers information and guidance in a variety of formats including 1:1, drop-in and group presentations. You will need to be an effective team player with the ability to relate to a diverse range of young people and mature clients from a range of backgrounds.
You will need experience and a hold a level 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) or equivalent. You will also have full working knowledge of the National Careers Service preferably within an FE setting.
