A retail financial service provider in London is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join a fast growing team moving towards the cutting edge of personal lending. Our client is pushing advancements in retail banking with the implementation of new technologies and systems into their customer experience. This progression is naturally accompanied by new risk exposures that are pushing demand for talented Risk Analysts. In it's bid to stay one step ahead of the criminals, this big name bank is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to drive proactive Anti-Financial Crime strategies and ensure Risk is mitigated.
THE ROLE:
- Ensure strategies and tools are in place to control risk relating to fraud, money-laundering, terrorism and other financial crimes
- Work with stakeholders to improve risk rules and strategies
- Monitor rules and analyse complex financial crime data to identify risk
- Understand risk methodologies relating to financial crimes and recognise how strategies can mitigate risk
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Highly numerate degree required
- Strong SAS skills
- Experience in an Analytical role within Financial Services
- Experience working in a retail Credit Risk environment - Fraud Risk, Credit Risk, Anti-Money Laundering
