Here is an opportunity for a good calibre and reliable Asbestos Site Analyst to join a fast growing asbestos consultancy in Scotland and will include applications from Edinburgh, Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
The applicant must possess the P403/P404 or the equivalent - RSPH certificates and at the same time must have significant demonstrable experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.
Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be IT literate.
Role Will Encompass:
Carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health & Safety procedures appertaining to asbestos.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis and dealing with issues appropriately and effectively.
Producing comprehensive reports as and when required.
Attributes:
The successful applicant will be an all-rounder, flexible and have good ethic and have the ability to carry out the work effectively and within time frame.
Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
