Sales Manager (Europe)

Working for an internationally successful Electronics business, this role requires a highly skilled Sales Manager who is familiar with European customers. Under limited direction from the Director of Business Development, this role is designed to actively market, promote and sell the complete range of products/services in a specified region or geographical area in order to maximize sales volume and to develop maximum market share.

Revenue plan and business goals will be achieved within the scope of business objectives.

This person:

- Achieves individual revenue plan and sells the complete range of products whether directly to end users or via a distribution network. Develops client base and maintains relationship with key agents and clients.
- Performs account management and regional sales role to include business development, lead generation, customer qualification, proposal delivery, and contract negotiation.
- Understands and assimilates the latest technologies and market data to create account propositions and competitive solution for high value opportunities.
- Establishes a communication path between the company and the customer to ensure customer satisfaction. Develops and supports timely resolution to customer issues.
- Assists sales support, and marketing staff members in activities such as sales promotions, exhibitions, marketing events, training or market research in planning and executing projects.
- May help assembly multi-disciplinary teams to recommend new applications and product features and strategy for the strategic account or territory.
- Produces management reports such as visit reports, revision of sales forecasts, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

- We are looking for a Bachelor's degree preferably in a technical discipline or Business Administration.
- A Multi-lingual background is preferred as you will be communicating with other countries.
- Five years experience in sales of systems and services is required.
- This role requires knowledge of a high technology industry, and client/competitor trends.
- Experience should also include a record of exceeding multi-million pound sales quotas and ability to communicate and interact effectively with senior executive level management.
