Based in beautiful Scarborough on the North Yorkshire Coast, Yorkshire Coast College is a small friendly college, part of the Grimsby Institute Group which is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation. We are looking for a committed and dynamic Head of Creative Industries (maternity cover) to join Yorkshire Coast College at an exciting moment in its development. The College is currently preparing for its move to a new campus and will be undertaking a rebranding exercise as part of the move, which will see us become Scarborough TEC.

We are looking for a forward thinking Head of Creative Industries (maternity cover) to join Yorkshire Coast College at an exciting moment in its development. The College is currently planning for its move to a new campus and will be undertaking a rebranding exercise as part of the move which will see us become Scarborough TEC. The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of at least one of the areas that they will be managing which include performing arts, fine arts, graphic design, music, hair and beauty and computing. They will be involved in the development of an exciting curriculum which covers both further and higher education. You will be responsible for ensuring there is high quality teaching and learning in your area and will make sure that there is appropriate full time, part time and potentially apprenticeship provision available to students. As part of your role there will be the opportunity to develop links to key stakeholders to ensure the provision meets the needs of people in the Scarborough area.
