Our client, a South Yorkshire FMCG manufacturing business, seek to appoint a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to their engineering team. The appointed multi-skilled maintenance engineer will have experience of lean manufacturing, a fast moving FMCG atmosphere, working PPMs and attending breakdowns. Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Role & Responsibilities
- Minimise downtime. React to breakdowns as required
- Follow CMMS maintenance plan and implement PPMs
- Support Kaizen and Lean projects utilising Lean Six Sigma principles
- Use SPC as a method of driving continuous improvement
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Skills & Abilities
- Legitimately multi-skilled. Equally strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- 17th Edition and efficient electrical fault finding skills
- Comfortable in a fast moving FMCG environment
- Experience in installation and commissioning of new machinery is advantageous
