Graduate Planner - Shrewsbury

Penguin are working with a well-respected property consultancy who are looking to recruit an ambitious Graduate Planner to assist in the delivery of Residential, Commercial & Rural projects from their Shrewsbury office.
The planning department is an integral and fast-expanding part of the organisation. Holding multiple offices, strategically placed throughout the UK the company are well positions to respond to the demands of its clients which can be individuals to leading housebuilders.
You will work with a small but experienced team of Planners on pre application advice, submission of applications, land promotion, discharging conditions and work on appeals as appropriate. The project profile is varied and so you will enjoy working on bespoke manor house applications, changes of use to larger scale schemes.
Graduate Planners are expected to have completed a RTPI accredited degree and be working towards chartered status. You will ideally hold 6-12 months Planning experience coming from either work experience or a year in industry (from either the Public or Private sector). You should be a confident communicator, able to demonstrate a clear passion for Planning and hold a valid driving license.
