A manufacturer of fast paced production machinery recognised worldwide are seeking a Senior Projects Controls Engineer to manage a team, to configure controls software for automated equipment projects, to ensure the bespoke automated systems matches the requirements and needs of the customer. The ideal candidate will have German language skills and a background in electrical software design.

The Role
Reporting in to the Controls and Development Manager you will lead a team of Engineers to develop controls software, you will be responsible for the testing of all software prior to its dispatch, you will fault find on breakdowns, assist on site with the commissioning of controls software, assist with the training of the system to the customer and liaise with various departments regarding the system specification. You will ensure adherence to the health & safety policy and compliance with the company's quality systems and procedures.
The Person
Educated to a minimum of ONC/HNC/HND in an electrical discipline you will hold previous experience working for an automated equipment provider, you will have knowledge of software and systems such as PLCs, SCADA and HMI. A basic understanding of German is essential but those of which can speak fluent in German will be at a distinct advantage.
