Title: Town Planner
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: GBP22,000 to GBP28,000
An exciting opportunity has become available with one of our established Commercial Property and Planning Consultancies. Due to a recent expansion, they are on the lookout for a skilled Town Planner to join the team in the heart of Essex.
The Town Planner will attend site investigations alongside a senior planner, assessing planning potential and looking into historical precedents and planning restrictions affecting all developments. You will assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications, and have a sound understanding of the UK planning system.
You will be supported through their APC, have a mentor to work alongside and be given the opportunity to develop within the organisation taking on more responsibility. You will have a full driving licence along with a clear understanding and awareness of retail and residential planning issues. The Town Planner will be involved in some key client meetings therefore strong communication skills are a must.
