Due to expansion and development within our service team, IRS LTD are looking for a Service Co-Ordinator.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and have a high attention to detail. Good computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Access would be beneficial with previous experience in customer service also being desirable.

Key Tasks within the role are as follows;

  • 39 hour working week, Monday to Thursday 08:30am to 17:00pm and Friday 08:30am to 16:00pm.
  • Responding to phone and email requests and providing support to all customers, engineers and suppliers in relation to Service issues.
  • Raising new job requests onto the IRS database and sending notifications to the client.
  • Assist with prioritisation and allocation of planned maintenance and pro-active/re-active service works to service engineers.
  • Processing engineers work & maintenance reports and advising customers of issues identified.
  • Submit extra to contract cost submissions and chase for purchase orders.
  • Generate and submit minor service quotations.
  • Review and monitor all in-progress and outstanding work.
  • Review, chase and update un-actioned service quotations.
  • Escalate non-service based quotations generated from service works onto Enquiry register for the project team.
  • Cover for other Service Co-ordinators tasks during periods of holiday/sickness.
  • Report directly to Service Manager regarding:
    • Escalation of service issues (i.e. customer complaints, engineer/supplier non-conformance, identification of concerning patterns of failures, etc).
    • Systems and procedure failures/in-efficiencies.
    • Idea’s for improvement.
    • HS&E concerns (i.e. accidents/near misses/ observations).
