Our client is a is a group travel company specialising in niche markets like stag, hen and sports group travel.
You will be trained on and responsible for a small but highly active portfolio of destinations, either in the UK or abroad, and you'll be building rewarding event itineraries and selling tailor-made event solutions to clients. Aswell as thorough training all the while you'll be supported by team leaders and other departments. You'll soon be putting fantastic offers together and helping guide customers to a great event. The sooner you get to grips with that the sooner you'll be adding monthly commissions to your basic!
Your role will include
?? Calling - calling & following up all leads that come in via web, text, social media & phone.
?? Quoting - creating & sending quotations.
?? Booking - passing over your clients to the Events team to deliver the jobs.
?? Sales/Targets - hitting monthly sales targets.
?? Marketing & Promotions - running your own weekly, monthly & quarterly promotions & competitive analysis.
?? Tech input - working with our web departments to ensure your destinations are consistently achieving the best possible results.
?? Destination development - managing your allocated destinations
?? Supplier relationships - identifying & sourcing new opportunities. Working with existing suppliers, developing discounted rates & added value.
?? Financial management - ensuring all quotes and packages meet the company's pricing policy.
?? Having fun - having fun and healthy banter with both your colleagues and your clients!
You'll need a few skills likes excellent communication, numeracy and attention to detail. On the whole experience doesn't matter to us but a great attitude and an appetite for successful sales does
