We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Boston for a senior internal recruitment role, the purpose of which will be to work with line managers and Heads of Department to understand and fulfil their recruitment needs. You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle from taking job briefs, writing and posting adverts and resourcing for candidates through to interviewing, and managing the offer process and induction of new members of staff. You will be recruiting for a wide variety of roles up to senior levels and as such we are looking for someone with experience of recruiting from the passive market.

This is a new role which has come about due to the continued growth of the business, resulting in a steady but consistent increase in the number of vacancies which will need to be filled.

You will need to have the vision and discipline to work on your own initiative and take responsibility for building relationships with internal clients and providing consistent support to ensure vacancies are filed in a timely and cost effective manner.

The role will include the following duties.

- Take briefings from the hiring manager, develop the job descriptions and person specifications for each role within the Company
- Write all advertising copy, source candidates using traditional and innovative approaches
- Searching for and making contact with potential candidates
- Shortlist and interview applicants, and assist the hiring Manager with selection
- Gather collate and interpret data on all aspects of recruitment, sourcing candidates, retention and the costs involved
- Streamline the recruitment process and make and implement suggestions for ongoing improvements
- Build effective pipelines for hard to recruit roles and build a pool of candidates to draw from for other needs in the future as required

You will need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record of managing the recruitment cycle in a busy environment, either within a similar internal role or as an external recruitment consultant where you will have recruited for permanent and senior level roles. Ideally we will be looking for candidates with some exposure to working within HR or possibly CIPD qualification.
