Commstar/Ontrac are currently looking to recruit a full-time
Finance and Admin Co-ordinator based at our office in Newtown,
Powys. The role would be to plan and manage financial and
administrative activities, and assist Company Directors in
producing monthly management accounts and reports.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage organise and update relevant data using Xero and
Adnet database applications.
* Manage, organise and process all data for sales and
purchase ledgers and bank accounts.
* Prepare monthly payroll schedule for accountants.
* Assist Company Directors in producing end of month
management accounts and other relevant statistical information
and reports such as VAT returns and monthly journals.
* Manage company contracts and agreements.
* Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health
and safety, and quality management.
* General administration and reception duties to ensure
smooth running of the office.
Candidates should possess a good accountancy knowledge
and would ideally be AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Xero accounting
software would be an advantage. As would a knowledge of HR.

their own initiative within a small business
