Reprographic Artwork / Operator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Reprographic Artwork / Operator to join a global manufacturer of high volume plastic injection moulded & printed products based in Runcorn, Cheshire. The Reprographic Artwork / Operator will be responsible for ensuring that high quality artwork is delivered to our production printing department to interface with our busy daily production schedule.

Duties will include:

Examining new artwork and identifying and resolving potential problems on press

Creating print ready artwork through to repro, incorporating bleeds, trapping, colour correction and dot gaining

Document control which involves recording and updating artwork changes and maintenance of product history

The successful Reprographic Artwork / Operator will have the following skills and attributes:

Ideally be educated to BTEC level however not essential as we are looking for talent rather than qualifications

Experience of working in a reprographics environment

Proven ability in handling artwork and dealing directly with the customer on their brief

Experience of working to company and customer agreed project timescales

Solid experience in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat (Mac), MS office, etc.

Willingness to learn or have experience of print screen manufacturing in our O & D department

Experience of working as an Artworker in a screen printing environment would be an advantage

The hours of work are 08:30 - 4:30, Monday to Friday.
