FM Contracts Manager required to join a leading National and Independent retail business to develop and grow with the company. This is a fantastic and diverse role allowing the individual to manage and implement continuous improvements to the service delivery. Girling Jones require a FM Contracts Manager to directly manager all PPM and Reactive Contracts and be involves with Projects and Capital Works.

Your new position

As FM Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing and continually improving the service delivery around repairs and maintenance. You will report and liaise with the FM and Commercial Manager to identify where efficiencies, improvements and savings can be made.

- Manage Planned and Reactive Maintenance Contracts.
- Producing budgetary & performance reports on Waterstones in-house engineering team and sub-contractors
- Identify where savings and improvements can be made
- Tender Planned Preventative Maintenance Contracts
- Reduce the reactive maintenance Budget, by challenging daily quotes/spend where required
- Reducing reliance on outsourced Consultants
- Manage Insurance reports on the Lift Contract
- Developing and improving the CAFM system.
- Work with the supply chain to drive customer satisfaction levels.
- Provide technical support to Service Desk team
- Providing support to other internal stakeholders / teams (H&S, Finance, Property, IT, etc)
- Developing direct and positive relationships with internal clients and the outsourced supply chain
- Operational delivery of SLAs and KPIs

What you'll need to succeed

- Proven Strong Services background
- Commercial experience is essential
- Ideally possesses experience of multi-site, retail property and Facilities Management.
- Proven business acumen and experience of demonstrating high levels of budgetary control.
- Ability to work independently, balance multiple maintenance issues simultaneously and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and people management skills.
- Must have a high degree of PC literacy with advanced skill levels with Microsoft products (inc. Excel, Word and Power Point).

Qualifications

- Degree qualification or equivalent, relevant to Facilities Management and/or a building services technical discipline including Mechanical, Electrical or Refrigeration Engineering.
- Preferably a membership of CIBSE, BIFM or an equivalent Facilities Management or Engineering Institution.
