Controls Engineer

We are seeking a Controls Engineer on behalf of our manufacturing client to create software for individual bespoke systems and projects and give training on these to the customer.

As Controls Engineer, you will:

- Develop controls software
- Test all software prior to dispatch and record all test information
- Fault finding on breakdowns and service issues if requested
- Attend site when necessary
- Give first hand training of the system to the customer/project team as required
- Liaise with Design, Production, Procurement and Installation departments

Requirements:

- Practical knowledge/experience of industrial/automated systems
- Undersatding of the principals for control systems management
- PLC nd SCADA software programming knowledge
- Experience in Electrical system design
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel in the UK and abroad
