The role
As the finance business partner you will work closely with the Heads of Commercial and Operational departments to drive the management information insight and performance analysis, whilst directing and mentoring a team of direct reports. Your key responsibilities will be to:
-Develop relationships with key stakeholders including senior management, project leads, and commercial finance
-Drive the development of accurate and insightful management information, as well as preparation of top level reports for presentation to key stakeholders
-Oversee budget and forecast preparations, as well as quickly and effectively communicating fluctuations and variances to senior management
-Proactively assess business performance and understand business drivers to aid delivery of projects
-Assist with business case modelling to help with additional business growth and bids/pricing work on new tenders
-Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Role requirements
In order to be successful in your application for this role, you will hold a full UK accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA). With the level of cross functional interaction in this role, it is essential that you have extensive previous experience of operating as a conduit between finance and non-finance teams. you will have had experience of interacting with and influencing stakeholders at all levels, from operational, to executive level. Previous experience of team management is also key
